The South Africans for Constitutional Reform (SACR) Imbizo was held today, 19 September 2026, at George Thabe Stadium in Sharpeville, bringing together community representatives and civic movements.
The gathering focused on encouraging public participation and creating a platform for communities to raise issues they want taken forward to government.
Insizwa Nobunsizwa was among the civic movements present at the event, encouraging community members to participate in civic matters and take action on issues affecting their communities.
Jacinta Ngobese also attended the Imbizo.
The event included a Constitutional Address by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, with discussions centred on constitutional matters, accountability and community participation.
